Pearl Cottier


Ms. Cottier was very instrumental in developing the Wild Horse Butte CDC to serve the tribal community of the LaCreek District Clinic. She has her Bachelor's degree in Human Services and an Associate of Arts in Lakota Studies.  Pearl has worked for the Oglala Lakota College Center for 30+ years.  She was also an instructor for the Lakota Culture Courses for Ogala Lakota College..  She has sat on numerous boards and committees as an elected official. Pearl has been a resident of the LaCreek District here on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. 

Lois Gotheridge


Mrs. Gotheridge has been involved with Bennett County School System for 15 years.  Lois has been on the District Executive committee and Secretary for 2 Administrations. 


Lois and her husband Chuck have been married for 31 years with two children Sammie 27 years old and Colton 17 years old.  Lois and her family have been residents of the LaCreek District all their lives. 


Lois is a strong advocate for people with disabilities.  Her son has Cerebral Palsy, her daughter has a kidney disease and is on dialysis. Sammie's dream of a kidney transplant is very near.

Alvina Dubray

Mrs.DuBray is a very well respected elder of our community. Alvina has served the LaCreek District Council for 3 administrations as the District Treasurer. She has her Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education.  Alvina will also be graduating this summer with her A.A. in Tribal Law.  She plans on using this degree to help assist our Tribal members. 


She is expected to obtain her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in June 2015.  Alvina works with the young Lakota people to further their education.  


Alvina has strong empathy for our Tribal members who struggle daily.  She is always willing to do what is needed to assist our Tribal members, especially our elders and children. ​

Kimmie Clausen

Executive Director

Ms. Kim Clausen is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe who was born and raised on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.in southwest South Dakota. A strong Lakota Woman, she is dedicated to working for the people of the Oglala Sioux Tribe to address the extreme poverty, and help create a better quality of life. Her 25+ years working in the management/political arenas for the Oglala Sioux has given her a unique knowledge of the challenges facing the Pine Ridge Reservation and the people that call the Reservation home. A military veteran, Kimmie has served the tribe as a Programs Director for Environmental Protection, Tribal Council woman and Associate Professor at Oglala Lakota College.
